AK vs 22 through Q's. Solid read on range, how deep do you call AIPF?

My game is slightly risk averse and I know many of yours isnt.

I was just curious as what depth of stack you'd call all in pre flop holding AK vs a solid read on range dueces through Q's.  Heck, even say opponent played his hand literally face up.

Even simpler make it heads up play AK vs 99.  What depth of stack are you willing to cold call?

face up QQVAK , i'll flip for 100 bigs - i'd flip in a mtt so i manage my roll the same so--- flip it

more than 100 bigs, then i want a better percentage spot

Are we assuming it's an open shove, and therefore we have nothing invested?

Relative ability of opponent?

Unless he's better than me, (in which case I shouldn't be playing HU cash against him), I'd fold 100% of the time with nothing invested in the hand.

If I had the pair, and he had the AK, I'd call everytime unless I had a significant skill edge.

As said bud opponent skill level is irrelevant as playing hand face up.

Yeah just a plain cold call.

Well if he was better than me I would flip, but then I wouldn't/shouldnt play him in the first place.

If he was bad, I wouldn't wanna flip and take away my skill edge.

So I spose I wouldn't do it at all in any situation then.

Would you say AK pre 100 bigs v QQ is bad for cash NL4

emmm true - i hear this so much - what would you rarther have all in AK or QQ

I always fall on the QQ side but I would not be sad to have AK
Suppose i could lower to 20-30 bigs - maybe 100 bigs is too high for NL4 cash ?


edit: but yeah why would i flip when i feel i have an adge :S

Well I wouldn't do it for 1 big blind. Might as well play roulette.

I'd rather have the pair, in which case I'd be happy to get 100xbb in v AK.
