Shove flop?

edited August 2011 in The Poker Clinic
Think I would shove the turn rather than c/calling.

I know that the turn call is marginal, but is a shove better than a raise on flop?

Not been on table long but Player a solid reg, Player b I have notes that he called raise from sb with kk and c/r c bet.

Didn't expect call from b on flop, as soon as it came wished i'd shoved? Now feel pot stuck.

if you take the line of raising flop which is fine, you have to def shove turn - and tbh, as played, you might even have to fold because i don't think you're getting the right odds, but i probz call aswell .. but you really want your opponent to fold, c/c is bad

i'd also raise the flop a little bit smaller because often when people donkbet/call they will fold on the turn quite often imo so i'd want to maximise my fold equity when shoving turn
