Cos they get people like you to call. lol Nah i'm only joking, unlucky on the hand.

They're hoping they're gonna get called and win a really big pot but in reality they're only getting called by about 3 possible hands and it's pretty unlikely someone is gonna have one of them. They're losing alot of value mostly.

They're hoping they're gonna get called and win a really big pot but in reality they're only getting called by about 3 possible hands and it's pretty unlikely someone is gonna have one of them. ak , qq or worse. Never played against him before so dont know what hes about. If he was short stacked id call with qq or if it played out different, such as a small reraise and a low flop

I play AA this way IF ive got notes on the oppo callin all-ins pre with AK AQ KK QQ even JJ but dont spose oppo had this info on you as youve said ya aint played him b4 , oh and vul in the hand xx

Yeah but 90% of the time, your opponent is going to fold here and you've won a tiny amount for your AA. You need to get max value on these hands.

Only feasable explanation is he knows you wont fold.  Sure we can accuse him of a tonne of things, but perhaps his experience is that people will call here more often than not at this levels.

And after all, he read it right.

I'm confused. There's a 4x raise from OP, 1 caller, then an 83BB shove, show surely you're gonna make everything everything fold except AA/KK/QQ in which case you're losing alot of value, when hands like AK,AQ,AJ,AT,TT,99,KQ etc fold. Why not make it £2 to go? Set them in on most flops if ya like but at least you've got 2 £2calls pre in the pot already.

I would think you get called shoving wider than you think , I doubt in general you only get called by JJ+ here

Ok you do get alot of junk calls at this level, I guess it depends who the opponent is but there's no way I'm making this move against a REG because they will only call JJ+ (if they know I'm a reg).

He's losing value because by 3-betting all in from 3xBB to 83xBB he is folding out just about all of the hero's range. If our hero is raising with anything but KK, AKs, QQ then it's an insta-fold and he wins 45p.

If he 3-bets to say £1.15 then out hero will call with a lot more hands and four-bet with KK, AK, QQ and maybe even JJ or AQ. Then he can shove and win more even if our hero folds.
