Question about Poker Points

edited September 2011 in Poker Chat
Just wondering what the criteria is for achieving poker points. The promotions page quotes a number but doesnt say how you get them. Is it per hand, per hour played, per winning hand or something else.
Also how do you qualify for the 20 points advertised for Raked Hands.
Thanks in advance for the help,
ChumpChaz

Yes, but it doesnt say how you get the Poker Points, it just says that you get them every time you play. As I asked above what is the specific criteria for gaining them?

    How to Earn Poker Points

Every time you participate in a Real Money Game you will earn valuable Sky Poker Points. This will be based on the stakes of the table below.

    Game TypePointsRaked Hands

A raked hand is defined as any hand in which you are dealt hole cards and a minimum of 1 pence in rake is taken.

You will also earn Bonus Poker Points for buying in to any Multi and Single Table Tournament. You will earn 10 Poker Points for every £1 in entrance fees paid, for example, if you enter a £10 + £1 tournament, the £10 is your contribution to the prize fund and the additional £1 is the "fee" that you pay. This means in this example that you will earn 10 Bonus Poker Points. All loyalty points earned will be credited to your account at the end of each hand or tournament  and can be viewed by going to 'My Account'.

    Hope this helps

Yes as Scouse Red kindly posted above but in quick terms.

You get a set amount of poker points (depending on what level you play) for every 20 hands that you're dealt cards in where there is a minimum of 1p rake.

ie. You're playing 2p/4p for a couple of hours and are involved in 40 hands with at least 1p of rake then you get 4 points... sounds pathetic when you put it like that lol.
