Alcohol has improved my game!
I know it sounds wierd, & there's not a huge amount of data to support, but following my recent ... ahem... interestingly losing streak, I'm somewhat innebriated tonight & I seem to be making all the RIGHT decisions.
I know everyone says that alcohol fueled poker is a bank buster, but to be honest, I'm normally quite a NIT.and tonight i'm not.
Having been drinking all night, my friends left & I decided to start playing with the last of my bankroll, before topping it up.
As it is, I've been making all the right calls & folds & in less than 3 hours I've over tripled my B/R.
Does anyone else share this wierdness, or is the concensus that I'm having a flukey night rather than my looser (loose not lose!) self making winning decisions?
really appreciate any feedback from players who have shared my experience..
- anyway....back to my beer ... lol

I'm now on a cash table & in less thwn 15 mins I have over twice what I started with!!!
perhaps it's a fluke? but I'm keeping going.
for tonight at least.....
Doh!
that hurts!
I know what you scots are like with drinking
But... ONCE YOU CROSS THE LINE PAST THE 10TH PINT OR SO, AND THE SCREEN GETS BLLLLLLLLLLLURRRRRRRRRRRRYYYY. IT IS TIME TO STOP!!!
I had my best result ever on a Bank Hol w/end. I had been out all day drinking with the lads on a Sunday, and as there was no work the following day, carried on drinking Sunday evening.
Also IMHO, if you have 'had a few', you can just laugh off the maniac plays that normally KO you from a game. If sober, they hurt more?
Each to his own though.
I can afford better quality booze these days.
