ive played poker on at least 10 different sites made money on all of them but this takes the biscut big time when even some of the top tourney players are complaining something is not right im only playing here 5 weeks but no matter what hand i hold it gets drawn out on not even near possible u are all living in a bubble if u think it is or listining to tikay to much get out and play onsome other sites where u have some chance of winning.RNG here is seriously wrong it should b called random player generater

First of all calm down , i indeed myself only several months ago thought pretty much what you did , then i got my @rse into the poker clinic and believe me i couldnt understand how I was playing my hands soooo badly by givin oppos the chance to hit their cards , bet sizing all wrong , playin marginal hands OOP , limping in , you name it i was doin it.

What benefit did the POKER CLINIC give me ?? everything

Since then i have excepted it is a very very high variance game and ya just HAVE to know what ya doin and what ya may be up against at all times.

I would recommend posting some of ure bad beats in the clinic and let more experienced players have a look at where ya may be goin wrong.

This is almost always a lie.

I've spoke to tonnes of 'winning players' off other sites who can't seem to beat nl4/30p sngs here.

You need Blinkers like the Horses have when racing it's to keep them concentrated on the track ahead and not get distracted.  The Professionals use dark glasses or hoods to stop them being put off their game by distractions. You are wearing the wrong Blinkers the right one's ---- as you have already been told ---- are obtainable from The Clinic. hth hugs x

Why would anyone want to play anywhere else if they could find one site that they could win on regularly that does not make any sense at all to me, yet I have seen it claimed by lots of people on here that they can win on other sites but not here! Myself I can win abit on each site but lose a good bit more on the 4 sites I have played on. Message to self must play better!

I am 70% a live player and 30% Sky Poker

The outdraws, the bad beats, the coolers are all the same, I also benefit greatly at times from players playing poorly against me.

Friday night, I raise UTG 3.5x with AA, 6 seater table and only one player folds, the BB gets a great price to call

Flop is 10 4 2 (2 diamonds) he leads out I 3 bet, he 4 bet shoves, I think I must be behind or he has at least the flush draw but I call, i could improve if he has 2 pair.

Sure enough he has 10 4 and he holds up, this was a live game, I didn't blame the dealer or the casino.

Sunday night league final I get it all in with AA on a 56A board, he calls with 78 and he misses on the turn and river, I doubled up and went on to cash, swings and roundabouts, the fall of a card, variance.

Why would Sky, a FTSE listed company with reputation to uphold engage in underhand tactics to allow other players to outdraw you? It benefits nobody and could cost Sky their business. Somebody wins each hand and other players lose, winners and losers which one are you?

debs ty for the reply but u will seldom get me playin marginal holdings limping into pots or playin op with week hands fact of the matter if u keep showing any kind of agg u end up with 4 or 5 callers every time u raise so its often gonna b hard for any holdings to hold for instance ive run jj or kk into aq several times they hit 2p or fh hands reversed i cant hit 1 pair i spend lots of time 1 or 2 hours per day on forums but no matter how much u play ur hands properly they dont hold will give u another button limp 53c me sb aj raise 3x bb calls flop 333

The scenarios that ure sayin happen about 4-5 callers would indicate ure playin at low levels , and then i agree ya will get this amount of calls

In actual fact, the 30p and 60p SnGs are the hardest ones to beat for two reasons: firstly they carry the highest %age house edge / buy-in at 20%, and secondly because they're the places where new players gather, the flux on poor and marginal hands played by others that come good.

I haven't yet managed to show a consistent profit playing at this level - it's the 20% edge that kills it. I'm currently showing -3.32% over 437 DYM games - got paid on 252, blew out on 185 so I'm 67 in front, a win/loss ratio of approx 4:3 (but overall I'm still in the red). Take away the HE, and I'd have a very creditable 16%-ish return on my money (a bit more than I get on my savings account with the bank). Again, the real winner? SkyPoker.

Stick at it. I started with these & freerolls. It taught me some of the basics as an absolute beginner and I've managed to move up a short way through the stakes from there.
