SPT Grand Final - Social Media Competition (#sptfinal)
So, what about the prizes?
1st - Primo
2nd - Sky Sports Bounty Hunter
3rd - TSP Classic
We'll also be handing out spot prizes to the funniest or most informative tweets using the #sptfinal tag.
How do we judge them? We'll decide it amongst the Sky Poker staff. It'll be judged on quality of information, humour, innovation....You'll want to be tweeting something which Sky Poker players not at the event will really appreciate. It's all a bit subjective, but it's all meant to be good fun and run in that spirit!
Winners will be announced next week on this thread.

To spread the word of Sky Poker far and wide, we've come up with a little Social Media competition for you all to take part in. Here's the deal...
From Friday evening, we'd like those of you who use Twitter to get on there and give us your thoughts and hopes for the SPT Grand Final.
* Can Orford make the final table?
* Will Tikay be able to wrestle the mic from the wonderful Mr Simon Trumper?
* Who will be the overnight chip leader?
All of these thoughts should be signed off with this little signature - #sptfinal Why? Because we want those at the event
to share as much of the atmosphere from the event with their friends and family through Twitter.
Imagine an SPT which has a live video stream, Tikay on commentary AND an easy way for us to get up to the minute chip counts from the likes of the TSP gang, Julian Thew and of course, Orford. Wouldn't that be brilliant? Well, this little competition aims to do just that - and for players at home to get a real feel about the SPT Grand Final.
Here's an example of how you might do it...
Table draw the SPT Grand Final up and I've got Beaneh on my table. Got to love his headphones! #sptfinal
It's not just restricted to those playing, either. If you have a question you want to ask, a chip count request or want to know how many drinks Jaegerplop has had, you can tweet and ask too. The #sptfinal part is the key though - without that the rest of us won't find the message as easily...
* Post a Twitter link to a video clip you record and upload through your iPhone.
* Photos of as many of your team mates with chip counts.
* Mini-interviews with some of the other Sky Poker Tour players.
I find www.twitvid.com is a good site for use with iPhone/Android phones and the app is pretty simple to use. You can then pop the link to the pic or vid in your tweet. Just don't forget that #sptfinal or it will all be for nowt!
