Sky Poker Forums is upgrading its look! Stay tuned for the big reveal!
Last night playing a live tournement I was under the gun on the final table of nine. Everyone at the table had around 10-12 big blinds so it's a delicate time where the right decicion can mean a cash.
I desperatley need to relieve myself so I check my hole cards (74o) and then sprint to the nearest convenience. I make it back just in time for the next hand. I get As7s and cut-off, button and small blind all limp. I shove and then realise my finger is bleeding prefusly. I managed to sustain a serious paper cut to me right index finger when checking my hole cards on the last hand.
the cut-off and button snap fold and small blind tanks for a while and folds. I muck my hand and after the panic goes away I remember that I have marked the cards. I have to tell the dealer what I had and play the rest of the tournement with a plaster on my finger.
I used to do rock climbing as a hobby before I fell 15 feet and broke my wrist. I took up poker because it was a safer hobby. I thought the odd bruised ego was the only injury I would ever aquire.
