20BB deep final table action with AJ

    This is on the bubble of a low stakes BH MTT. Basically the average stack is 20BBs and all the players are happily limp-folding with very short stacks. I've seen at least one player put half his stack in and then fold to a bet on the turn. I've not long since made the final table and cowboyknox was the chip leader but he was on the other table. His stack has taken a bit of a hit recently.

    I'm happy to get it all in pre-with AJ at this stage but a 20BB shove is only getting called by hands that have me dominated here (especially with the table dynamics). I've been min-raising mostly so this time I make it 3x expecting to get shoved on and then it's a snap call. Only none shoves, the button calls (for 10% of his stack) and the blinds fold.

    Question is should I have shoved on the flop despite missing, and now that I have checked should I shove to the villian's bet on the flop? I elected to fold since I shouldn't have any fold equity and the best case scenario is the guy has Kx or Qx and I have 28% equity.

    Am I right to say that you should really only flat call my bet pre in this spot if you have aces?

    If I'm not jamming pre I'm opening smaller maybe 1350, likely leading 1500 or c/fing dependant on player.

    Again depending on table may just jam pre.

    Raise smaller pre, amazed how many people don't get this. Make it 1300.

    You have 20 bb's at start of hand so if you raise you have to call off imo, raising smaller means you can cbet smaller.

    open smaller pre, I'd make it 1500, less may be better though

    flop prob b/f 1/2 pot, depends on reads though
