Cheers for trying these Adam but it looks they have not taken off. There were 6 qualifers in tonight's 9.30pm Semi Final and there are 6 entrants in the Final Lobby, so no extra seats have come through the SnG's.

They are basically the same as just playing the 9.30pm. I hoped they might of been a bit different, but understand the constraints needed when setting them up. A 10 seater feeder into the Semi Final perhaps @ £2.40. If starting after a certain time, say 6.30pm, it is an automatic feed into the following night's Semi Final.

Perhaps they may  fill in the day time but we will have to see.

I was regged for a SnG Sat for 4 hours or so without the game happening, however I think these are a good idea and will fill soon.

An idea, would people who want to try a few of the sats post here and we'll get a time together to have a session.  For me, tomorrow at 9.30pm would be peachy.

It might be the lack of sleep from the w/end, but this has confused me. This is the time of the scheduled Semi Final, so why not just play that? Save the SnG's for all the other times in the day/night...no?

Or play both?  Or get people logging into the SnGs as they bust from the semi for a second chance?

It would work better if you had a £2.40winner takes all into the £24 satelite STT, i think this could work if you have 2 of each set up at a time if its possible to do this

    Hi All,

It's early days, I'm more than happy to give these every chance to succeed, I suspect these will perform better for the £110 SPT legs where they will likely remain at 1 in 10 and drop the buy in down to £12.

Unfortunately we are not able to run them into daily semi-finals guys, because we dont have the facility to schedule them to switch off at a given cut off point (E.G. 90 mins before the SPT semi-final) nor the option to auto switch the seat to the following day's semi after a certain point. (a fair idea Alan - although could be awkward to explain to customers)

There are always possible solutions through development but this is not something we are looking to address in the immediate future, hence this is the best we can do at the minute (E.G. Ideally there'd be a 'satellites' filter for the sit and go lobby)

Lets see how they go over the next few weeks, 1 or 2 seats a day would be a reasonable return.

P.S. Great to meet you all at DTD as always - hope to see you again next month for the 6 max :-)

    Best Wishes

    Adam

    Hi tumptump/MAriusz80,

Firstly congratulations on qualifying, this is our 1st ever 6 max event of a Sky Poker Tour and will be a great weekend! :-)

We send out final email confirmations in the week before the tournament, so ~ Monday 25th Oct.

But you are now in the event, so all you need to do is turn up and play (reg normally opens ~ 12 - 12.30pm at the venue on the Saturday) - a driving licence or passport are needed for entry if you're not already a member. (Failing that i believe they also accept a debit card with proof of address)

The venue is Dusk Till Dawn, Nottingham and there'll be plenty of discussion on the Sky Poker Tour section of this forum as more and more players win their seat.

If you have any q's then feel free to put a post up in this section of the forum and it'll be answered by other forum members and/or Sky Poker Tour Staff.

Players often discuss hotel/travel arrangements (and more importantly who buys the 1st round at the bar!)

Look forward to seeing you there guys, you'll have a great time

    Best Wishes

    Adam
