Talk Talk" (& Tiscali) may well have been the cause of many (but perhaps not all) of the problems some Sky Poker players have endured the last few days.

    google is your friend....

I'll resist the temptation to suggest..... SORT IT OUT TALK TALK....... as that would be presumptious.....

I am also on Talk Talk and have had problems navigating through the site in the last couple of days.

All seems fine today though :)

Correct. They have admitted/acknowledged that they have "throttled back" bandwidth during the evenings.

This is not a first by any means for Talk Talk/Tiscali (they are essentially the same thing) they have done it repeatedly in the past, & have fessed up to it.

I have similar issuers with BT atm. Doesnt so much effect Sky Poker to badly however i tried to get the BBC iplayer to buffer a programme i missed when i was away while i was sleeping. I fell asleep at 4.30am and by now it buffered 6 minutes. - Seriously.

Buffering often stops Don if you lose connection, so if you lost internet connection between 4.30am and now, there is a good chance the buffering stopped.

tbh i have been with talk talk for the past 4 years and have never had any problems with conection except for the past few days.. i couldnt even sign on to sky poker yesterday, but every other site worked fine.. youtube i player, xbox livee etc etc..

everything seems sorted today so fingers crossed

Internet infrastructure is incredibly complex so it's quite possible to have problems accessing certain sites and no problems accessing others. It's not a case of 'it either works completely or it doesn't'.
Fingers crossed all is well again :)

Just moved from virgin to talktalk, after the last few days of constant disconnections (only on sky other sites working fine) am beginning to think it wasn't the best move :(

Im very, very lazy when it comes to going elsewhere - unless the company does my head in! im with BT broadband and i have no probs atm, thats not to say there are none, its the same with sky, i could go virgin etc but unless i have hassle i cant be bothered, even if it does cost me more, and to be honest, my life feels better with less aggro, even if it costs me more. NO AGGRO FTW - OTHERWISE GO ELSEWHERE, EVEN IF IT COST YA MORE (LESS WRINKLES AND LESS GREY HAIR LOL)
