Hotel recommendations near DTD

I have seen the Premier Inn mentioned in earlier threads and also notice that DTD recommend the Park Plaza.

Does anyone have any recommendations (or otherwise) after this year's Grand Final ?

    Budget B and B accomodation for around £25-30 a night

    Hylands
    Fairhaven

    both in Beeston, about a 10 minute drive

    basic but v affordable


    Mid range chain hotels

    Premier Inn Nottingham castle marina
    Travelodge Nottingham South

    both around £50 a night

    Both what you'd expect and again 10 minute drive away


    Higher end

    Holiday Inn Castle Marina

    c£60-70 a night. Very nice and comfortable

    Check around for offers, as the Holiday Inn can be had for £40 a night if you spot one


    there are of course loads more but I would recommend those above for location rather than finding a hotel in town. dtd is out by the University, so around 5 miles away from the City centre hotels
