    Re The Dreamteam Fantasy League - September 2011

    The final results have been submitted to TK at 1000 this morning. I cannot confirm any results and prizes until I receive confirmation from Sky. There is a tie in the prize positions (ruling required) and I will let you all know as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.

    We are still expeiriencing delay - have now contacted sky adam at 1915 tonight - will announce results when we have clarification - once again sorry for the inconvenience.

    Good morning.

    There appears to have been some sort of misunderstanding, or communication failure, here.

    Imber Posted on this thread on the morning of 27/9/11 (yesterday) that he had informed me of the results, & sought clarification as to the prizes. He then says (see previous Post) that he was still awaiting confirmation from me, & had also written to Adam.

    There is clearly a communication failure here, & whilst I most certainly not suggesting it is Imber's fault, (& if it is my fault, I certainly apologise), I need to make you aware that Imber wrote to me this morning (TODAY) at 07.20am, & said this.....

    Hi TK 

    I have tried to contact you by several methods since the results were finalised on monday night for the DTD fantasy Dreamteam. There is no point in me annnouncing the results uness the prizes are confirmed.

    If there has been a mistake and Sky no longer want to issue the prizes can you please tell me so that i can isssue a humble apology. 

    These are the top places out of 102 teams - with DARTOOTIN winning the £220 roller - WALLER winning the £110 roller - and a draw for the £55 primo between FIELDY 1978 and LYONSBOB1987.

    As soon as I saw that (8.56am), I replied as follows.....

    Good morning.


    This worries me greatly - I have not had any e-Mails, PM's, phone calls from you this week, in fact the last from you was in early August, when you wrote to me to thank me after winning a TSP Classic Seat.

    By which means have you tried to contact me, please?

    There is clearly a disconnect or misunderstanding here.

    If Prizes have been promised by Sky Poker, they will be honoured.
     

    To speed up what is clearly an urgent matter, can you EITHER write to me at (my Company e-mail address) , or ring me on (my private phone number).

    Hopefully, we can then clear up the misunderstanding very quickly.

    I will now also contact Adam, to see if he has a better handle on this than I do.

    Please be assured - everyone - that if Sky Poker have promised certain prizes, they WILL honour those promises. For the moment, however, I'm slightly bemused by all this. Nothing new there, then....

    10.20am, Update.

    I have contacted Adam, & he will be registering all the winners for the various Tourneys as agreed, & he will do this later today. 

    The two 3rd place "dead-heaters" will BOTH get a Primo Entry, which seems only fair & reasonable.

    Hopefully, therefore, problem now resolved. The mystery of where the missing comms went remains just that, a mystery, & I have not heard further from Imber, but it's all sorted now, so no sweat.

    Oh, & well done to the winners, to all who took part, & to Imber for all his hard work in organising it.

    Mystery solved......

    Imber has just 'phoned me. It seems the means by which he tried to contact me was Facebook.

    The recent (last week) changes at Facebook mean I no longer get an e-Mail notification of incoming Facebook Messages. 

    I only visit Facebook when I absolutely have to, to promote Sky Poker stuff usually, & many of you will know why I prefer to avoid the place when possible, so, going forward, if anyone wishes to contact me, I will respond much quicker if you not use Facebook as the medium.
