Evening gents (and Rich) well done James on the win. I was the one that doubled up on the 3rd hand with aces have never seen anything like it . He raised pre I reraised and he called flop was ace 8 2 with 2 diamonds He bet I raised he reraised I raised to about 4k thinking he had a set of 8s and he shoved all in.After a millisecond to rule out the flush draw(ace of diamonds on the flop which blocks his flush range) I call and he shows A Q spades and is drawing dead happy days Unfortunately it went a bit wrong later but was a great event hopefully be down for the six max Alan

By the way, I was well happy to hear you'd won after I heard all the stuff about everyone else on the FT wanting to do a deal and you not.... good on ya for sticking to your guns!
I can't see why anyone would wanna deal there in that situation, unless your a proper short stack, and if you are, the others shouldnt do a deal if you're that much of a short stack.
RICH, YOU, MENTIONED 2/7 OTHER DAY I WAS B/BLIND, GOT A MIN/RAISE THEN PLAYER BEHIND THEM MIN RAISE THEM, COMES ROUND TO ME, I FOLD AND FLOP CAME 2/2/2, I WET MYSELF SO MUCH I HAD TO CHANGE UNDERWEAR.
Had car crash on saturday night, had to miss tickets for a box at man utd vs chelsea on the sunday, then in hospital tuesday and wednesday with my illness
And today buy a new car and now not working
At least james has not given me a bad beat for a long time - lol
when i was 11 i was crossing the road with my brother when a car came over the hill like a bat out of hell i used my arms and pushed backwards pushing my broth aside and jumped just like james i looked round and all i could see was my brothers shoes he had been knocked over a garden wall there were just these 2 shoes on the road. he to this day 50years latter will not forgive me bad beat or what
On June 20th (this year) Team51 set a challenge for themselves to win £51,000
Unkindly some members of TKP ( team knitting pattern) said it would take 51 years to complete.
But Drumahai's cash tonight in the BH took us through the £51k barrier in 3 months and 3 days. The total was reached on page 51 of the challenge thread ..........spooky!
Now for the next challenge and a big well done to all team51 members.
Well done to james for his SPT win - I watched it on the live stream and from the asian lasy going out on the final table there only looked like one winner
On the subject of running like James, I did win 2 out of 2 MTT,s a cpl of months back. Unfortanately they wern,t on Sky they were only £2.20 and £3.30 buyins with 250 players nad 350 players . the second one was a rebuy which i,d entered by mistake . i never rebought and missed the addon while making a coffee , but still went on to win
I do play 95 percent of my poker on Sky normally , but could really do with running like James now as I satelited into a 20 euro game where i am currently 2nd from 11 at the 2nd break with 3 seats up for grabs for the 220 euro buy in live event at the Regency Hotel in Dublin next month
Rich, Team 51 51k challenge finishes on page 51 How many members do you think we have ?? Incidently team knitting pattern threw down the guantlet to race us to 51k - you can expect an incoming announcement from them in December ;o) Posted by elsadog
