Gneral advice about DTD

Hi all,

I am due to attend the DTD 29th Oct for 1st time at such an event and wold be greatful if I could get help with some general info:

1.  Do you get any info on attendance after you qualified or do you just turn up?  
2.  Whatside events are there and what sort of stakes are they? 
3.  Recommended hotels


Apologies for my greeness but genuinly haven't a clue! lol.

All the information will be posted in a Player Briefing on this baord about a week before the event. It will tell you times, events, what ID to bring etc etc

Details of Side events are in an early post on this thread

Hotels. Depends on your budget but google is your friend. There is a Premier Inn, Travelodge and Holiday Inn all within a 10 minute drive. Alternatively there are guesthouses like Hylands and Fairhaven in Beeston for b and b type accomodation

Fantastic advice - thank you.  can I also ask wether friends who come to support you are able to get involved in side events?

A note re: hotels, as it is my first time as well. Make sure you check around for latest possible check in times, don't want to be unable to get in after day 1 of the tourney!

grantos, all welcome to attend support and play the side events. The side events are open not qualification only


Wycombe: quck phone call to your hotel saying you'll be a late echeck in suffices, this removes the risk that they think you are a no show, charge you and sell the room on

Pre register online with the casino as there is only two laptops and usually long queues to use them to register.
