I had a similar evening. Picked up my kids for the evening. Daughter lost her ridiculously expensive glasses at school. Had everyone searching for them, asked in assembly. I found them in her bag after an hours drama. Took to feed ducks, shopping bag split, as picking up, youngest jumped into duck pond. I am calm, I am calm...
Girly friend not sleeping well, so I bought a bottle of JD, Gin, anaseed vodka, wine and beer, so she could self medicate, with possibilty of fringe benefit
Opened the anaseed vodka while watching an idiot abroad 2, thought "oh this is nice". Dont remember much else....
