Sunday's live show with James & Trevor (***OFFICIAL THREAD***)
Well, here we are again...
It's Sunday night - which means Sky Poker's weekly Sunday Roller tournament starts at 7pm, with the accompanying TV show appearing on channel 865 at 9pm. Expect hand analysis and discussion of this evening's hot topic:
Big blind play
Are you a religious blind defender? Will you call with any two if you feel "priced in?" How do you feel about playing out of position post-flop? Opinions and examples are more than welcome. E-mail skyopen@bskyb.com or post your Hand IDs and thoughts in this thread.
Actually, please feel free to wax lyrical on ANY subject tonight. We're providing you with a platform to get it off your chest. We want you to tell us:
What REALLY grinds my gears!
Yes, I'm "borrowing" an idea from 'Family Guy' (thanks, Seth). So, if there's something in this world that puts you on tilt, we want to hear about it ;-)

The thing that really grinds my gears is listening to someone give you their oppinion then when you try to give yours the best augument they can come up with is "whatever"!
if there is a raise i will usually give my bb up unless i got picture cards.
something that grinds my gears is ppl that sit at a dym table as away and hope to cash...why join a game if your'e not going to play...?
People who will call any raise 4x/5x pre-flop, with a rag A or suited A,
then continue to call a pot size bet on a dry flop,
and when they get a gutshot on the turn, the're not folding,
and then they usually hit the miracle card, pfffftt.
Rag Aces FTW
Or would you?
I'll get my coat.
What grinds my gears
Bluffing a dead pot, when it is in the bluffer's (& every one else's) interest to take out the all in micro stack
hello james and trev from corsica
please say hello to everyone who has tried to chat. i am unable to reply as i am playing on my netbook and the screen doesn't have enough pixels to allow me to type a response. i am not being rude, soz to samanatha, dave, paul etc., and soz to my stalker too for ignoring any comments.
james did have to explain how to use and iphone thingy to take the picture tho, im not good with technology, but i do own a top class mp3 player
As you are normally out of position in the big blind, I tend to just defend it when I have something to defend it with. Unless, of course, I want to send a message to the stealer when a good old fashioned shove with 72 off can do the trick.
Have a great show
BIG BLIND PLAY - I PLAY EVER HAND BLIND, I MUST GO TO SPEC-SAVERS
WHAT IN THIS WORLD PUTS ME ON TILT, MY DODGY LEFT LEG !
Have you seen the movie Thirteen days which was about the Cuban missile crisis in 1962,i thought it was an excellent film but so far anybody who i speak to about it disagrees, just wondered what you thought about it James.

Pad
Scottish football,
There's been no money in the SPL since the "muppets" in charge rejected a SKY deal a few years ago.
Two things that really grind my gears are Villa's demise to a selling club and the stewards and police who don't understand the need to stand at football.
What grinds my gears is people who react badly to losing, particularly if you have outplayed them (not always the case for me), if i hit a bad beat obviously i hurt but i try and shrug my shoulders and think next time.
What are you thoughts on the rude/aggressive players
