It's how many you earn each month.

Make sure you've put the promo code in to recieve cash for points too.

Ok great and your sure of that? because im just about to go below 500 by entering a free tourny. Also what is the promo code dude? Thanks.

    Yes i'm sure.

Not sure which points you use for free tournies, I think they're different but I maybe wrong, i've never entered any.

This is how you enter the promo code
How do I qualify for Cash for Points?

    By doing the following:

•Click 'My Account' and go into ‘Free Bets

    •Enter the code ‘POINTS

You do use poker points to enter freerolls but it doesn't take away from your cash 4 points. You get the cash 4 points based on how many you've earned in that month, not how many you have left at the end of the month.

I don't think it's confusing, it's not 2 sets of poker points, its Poker Points and League Points.... Cleverly named because the League Points are how you progress and get to the top of the Sky Poker League.

Whereas the Poker Points have nothing to do with a league (hence the lack of the word league) and they are for ya C4P.

Most people don't even pay attention to league points anyway and it's a very small part in the bottom corner of the account page. Whereas Poker Points are much more clearly pointed out cos they're the ones most people care about.

and as i said they are both called POKER POINTS

I think you will find actually you are both wrong.

There are 3 sets of points:

Poker points: The points you get when you first start and accumulate when you enter tournaments/cash/stt's. These can be used to buy into freerolls.

League Points: These are accumulated through winning hands at cash or winning/placing in STT's and MTT's. These are used to get you higher in the Sky league and ultimatly win you a place into the TSP tournament at the end of the 3 month period.

Cash for points: This is earned through rake and the more you play the more you get back at the end of the month in £.

    poker points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are 2 types of points. Cash 4 points are the same as Poker points.

It's not confusing because 'they're both called Poker points', because they're not. One is called Poker Points, one is called League Points, the only connection is the word points.

Maybe cos the world is full of morons?

I would argue it's not confusing knowing which there/they're/their to use in different circumstances and yet millions of people still do it.

Isn't racism idiotic yet people are still racist?

The fact a few morons cannot read a pretty basic and well written set of instructions for what the two types of points mean, does not make it confusing.

    I don't get the POINT

    Flashflush is correct btw

But surely cash 4 points and Poker points are one in the same, so there is 2 types of points, not 3.

I know Poker points are for freerolls and cash 4 points are rakeback bonus but they are the same amount/earned at the same rate etc.

I guess you could argue it's different because at the end of each month, you still carry over your poker points to the next month but you dont carry over cash 4 points, but thats fairly obvious.
