I think it's a good idea, and in a way, there's no reason for Sky to not be up for it because they don't get any rake from the survivor anyway.

I got through to the final for £1 in my first and only ever try at the survivor series.

I agree. Being able to buy in later , especially on the last day, defeats the whole object of 'surviving' :)

I dont think you'd get enough players willing to play six days on the bounce so your prize money would suffer!
Only way I could think to reward players who lasted from the start would be to give bonus chips for every day they've been in the competition.
I don't know what you start with but if a player gained an extra 400 chips per day you could earn a potential 2400 chip advantage through putting in the hours.

The buyin would have to go up to about £10 to cover the guarantee because theres no where near enough players in it at the £1 buyin stage so it wouldnt have such a draw to players who at the mo can win £100s off just a £1 buyin.

I know that when you have players buying in direct on the saturday for £64 they are bound to be alot better class player than most of the £1 entrants but they only get 2 cards just the same and badbeats etc can hit anyone so paying 64 x more to buyin which also helps to boost the prize fund evens things out really.

I think if its not broke dont try fixing it.
