Yup, organised & part-owned by those very same wonderful French peeps who are said to be - note the choice of words - "rescuing" FTP.

Note that Wembley Stadium 100% denied that the Stadium has been booked by anyone that weekend.

    They say

"The first step of the Event consists in making all the players (ISPT expects their number to be comprised between 20,000 and 30,000) competing online, simultaneously, on a dedicated software and using electronic pads which will be offered to them, from their seats in the stadium.

During the second step, the 3,000 top-ranked players still in the running will be gathered around real tables set up on the lawn of the stadium, to compete in real mode."

Has no-one told them we occasionally get rain in September and the roof at Wembley does not cover the "lawn"

also whats to stop the person behind me being on my table and looking at my cards.

Given that stadiums like wembley have wind swirling round the stands/pitch on bad weather days, how do the organisers expect to deal with a situation where hole cards are blown off the table!

Should have picked the o2 arena with a smaller field imo. You could still easily get 1000 players in there and have a structure similar to the wsop me.
