Sky Poker Forums is upgrading its look! Stay tuned for the big reveal!
Hi All,
I think that there are plenty of Freerolls and they are enjoyable and good for practice. However, I do think that a proportion of the re-buy should be added to the prize fund. This would make playing more worthwhile and would save playing for say, 2 hours and getting 33p!
Has this been considered or discussed before? What is the general view from players and the 'official' view?
Best regards, Phrank

All of the rebuys get added to the prizepool IF the total exceeds the guarantee, the rebuys and addons rarely exceed the guarantee so we get no extra value.
What you are asking is for all the rebuys to be added to the guaranteed amount, that won't happen
If the freeroll is £100 guaranteed and the rebuys are £110 then the prizepool is £110, if the rebuys = £90 then the prizepool is £100
I would guess people rebuy to give themselves bigger chip stacks or buy back in if they go all in and lose, I doubt they rebuy to swell the prize pool, I wouldn't know as I have never rebought in a freeroll
I won the 7pm £100 rebuy freeroll on Monday for £25. (brag over lol) There were 497 players and 40th -50th got 55p, it graduated up to 85p for 10th - 20th, i did not rebuy, i did not add on, and in my opinion its a waste of money to do so at 50p a pop considering the prizes on offer. As for the question about added value to the prizefund, it will never happen, and ive never seen it go beyond the initial guarantee, maybe if the rebuys were say 20p a lot more players would rebuy and add on, but these types of games are just fun anyway so do what i do - just enjoy them and dont rebuy or add on!
