We are not referring to the cash for poker points, yes these are reset to zero at the beginning of every month.

We are referring to the poker points that are accrued over the months and usually end up being spent on a Vegas freeroll satellite.

They may not have much value, but they are worth something in the end, so I would certainly like to reclaim my missing 2000 points.

it's basically the same thing, if you start the month with 4k points, and then over the month 4.2k for example then ur balance will show 8.2k, however when they pay u the £75 for 4k pts, they will deduct these and just leave the 200 extra on top of what u already had

I appreciate, your advice Shanxta, thank you.

Though not sure its entirely correct, I earned 3434 cash for points last month, so based on your logic I think you would expect me to lose 3,000 points.

I've never noticed the points go down before, though as they just sit there, I must admit I don't pay that much attention.

For my own peace of mind, I'll keep an eye on my points for next month and see what happens.

If I made a mistake, I blame Debdobs for make me look a fool!

Mine have been taken out every month...

I have 1580 poker points, have played since march earning on average about 1100 a month and RARELY play freerolls... what the hell sky...

And on top of that I dadn't even have the 500 points you are supposed to get for free upon joining...

EDIT: Just read the other replies and it seems i'm not getting screwed out of points, except that 500 that I never recieved when I joined... do you think it's too late to try and claim them back? lol

It's actually totally different. I think the points they are referring to are the sky 'play points' that people use to play freerolls etc. These do not zero out at the beginning of every month, these just accumulate as you play.

Around Vegas time these points can be converted into a sat place via a special points qualification route. In the mean time you can use then at 50 points a pop to play the 5 daily freerolls...

I can't think of any reason why anyone would have simply 'lost' 2k of these points, there is no reason for them to go anywhere...

    HTH

Because before your C4P is credited these points are included in your overall total, so when they are swapped for cash your total points goes down by the same ammount.

i struggle to see how its different tbh

yes you can use the points mid-month, and unlike other sites, this doesn't affect ur cash 4 pts.

however certainly in my account, and in other peoples that I know that also use sky, these points get deducted when the C4P is applied

obv alot of people have a huge build up of points first of all from b4 Sky introduced C4P so points never got deducted (apart from freerolls etc) and secondly from excess points over the various C4P thresholds that obv do not get deducted.

i cud ofc b completely wrong!
