For the stupid monkeys amongst you that have me on their team, I'm going to be away next week (holiday) and concentrating on UKOPS1 the following Monday, so I'd use a (permanent) sub if I were you.

Hi Guys

 

I have thought long and hard about this – and unfortunately I am going to have to cancel the DTD Dreamteam Fantasy league at the end of this month.

 

I am currently spending 3 hours on a Monday night and 4 hours on Tuesday morning trying to sort it out – coupled with all the other team changes etc. throughout the week.

 

I have really enjoyed setting it up and running it – and the banter it has created over the past 4 months.

 

We enjoyed wonderful success from the superb prizes awarded by Sky Poker and Tikay – resulting in a massive TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS being won by two of our very own players.

 

Sadly I have been unable to get any prizes for this month or any future months – and this helps me greatly in my decision.

 

It is ironic that I am actually lying in SECOND place this month – and no offence to Madmoo – but I am going to use all my skill and judgement to finish the competition with a bang – so will my players please note that I expect you on the training pitch at 9 o’clock sharp every morning to be fresh for the final two Monday nights.

 

Thank you all for your input and wonderful comments – I really hope you have all enjoyed the competition as much as I have – and although there are still to weeks to go - I look forward to chilling out and playing the DTD on Mondays without having to stay up all night to work out the scores.

It's been a great comp and I'll be sorry to see it end but fully understand as I always thought the time and effort needed to compile everyones scores and points must be horrendous.
