Gotta say that this has got to be my fav aswell. Not watched clip but it has to be durrrrrrs amazing bottle pushing bg off aces and eastgate off trips ?
Actually there was another edge of the seat hand in Late Night Poker this week, between Luke Schwartz and Roberto Romanello. If you saw it you'll know which one I mean!
Yeah the shwartz Romanello was good. More watching Romanello than shwartz though, sweating it out. Not the biggest fam of Shwartz but is good to see him pull every trick out of the bag to get there.
The ivey dwan hand which went over a million and Ivey was so so soooooo close to calling with a pair of sixes! Would of been insane but still massively entertaining.
Or the hand when hellmuth and some lady both go all in with aces run around the studio basically shouting i have aces i have aces with a player left to act who has kings and yet he still calls!!!
Yeah, watched Romanello v schwartz tonight on sky+, fantastic hand. How the heck he could have called is beyond me. Anyone else think it was the wrong call in that situation? How many times is he beating Romanello in that situation?

I wasnt sure on this for awhile. But its not as though shwartz doesnt narrate those concerns (and more) to himself while pondering his action.
I do think it was a good call. I think he simply picked up on something throughout the hand that just didnt make him a believer.
Plus the added level that Romanello goes through to the final either way probably altered things. I think he just sensed where he was, knew he wouldnt usually be winning, but had to take the time to confirm his read. If Romanello had of had it, I suspect shwartz would almost auto muck river. But as said, he must have picked up on something
Only daft thing was he openly "knows" Roberto doesnt have the 3 barrel allin bluff in his toolbox lol ..... What a fish

Yeah, must have had a real good read. It was edge of the seat stuff. Loved it.
There was just so much out there that beat him, great call, but against Romanello i wasnt sure he would be good enough times to justify the call. Only Schwartz will know, anyone know him? lol. Great to watch either way.
Anyone see the hand in the Big Game on sky sports the other week with Tony G open shoving something like 68k (real money) with AA and getting called by Rob Yong with QQ (he owns DTD at Nottingham) and also by A,K? Was terrific watching the third guy with A,K trying to figure it out as Rob Yong basically told the table he had QQ which left the guy wondering what the heck Tony G would shove with.

The only hand really worth watching for tactical brilliance, all the rest are pretty insignificant by comparison
