!...IMO there is a crunch hand in every tourny that makes or breaks
your tourny(you may disagree)i lose this hand every time.(no matter
how far ahead i am).that is what i meant by "every fecking time"
2...I wasnt moaning about losing,i was moaning about the rigged for action
setup of the hand, the fact that if by some chance all the chips didn't go in
pre flop, the flop made damn sure they would.job done.

Umm, there is a "crunch time" in every single Poker Tournament ever played, both Online & Live, & it has been the case since poker was invented. It's why, in every poker Tournament, there is only one winner. The rest all had a "crunch moment".

If you, "lose this every ******* time" as you state, can you please explain how you came to win a £5 6 seater STT yesterday?

That, Sir, is what you get when you play raggy aces, badly and out of position!!

Call pre, no need to shove.. Villain folds to any bet on that flop..

Probably better to analyse your own game if you want to get anywhere!!!

You played this as badly as it's possible to play it imo and seriously need to on your pre flop play!!

    xx

IMO why get involved with A9? Fold it man .You have to understand that with over 12bbs you have plenty of time to wait for better spots to shove!!Sadly your poor play didnt get rewarded but thats poker.
  • edited October 2011
Are yous two clowns serious??? I'm on the BB three handed at the end
of a tourny.A9 is well good enough for a shove in this spot against a huge
stack who is raising almost every hand.and i was right
So trip5 you are saying i should call 2K of my 7.8k stack just to see the flop!
Are you actually qualified to be giving advice on poker???
  • edited October 2011
lol, OP's play is fine in all 3 of the hands he's posted in this thread.

    As is spornys play.

The edges r small, the varience high, alot of the time you play perfect and still lose.

Thatz the gameee, & 1 of the main reasons I can't handle playing lots of MTT's, so I don't play em! And when I do, my expectations are very very veryyyyyyy low. To the point where I don't even give myself a chance in most of them.

Each to their own, but there are much lower varience forms of poker out there if that's what you're looking for . . . . . . . . .. .

what tk said really.........the crunch hand is the hand you commit all your chips to and lose, the only way this wont happen is if you win the tourny.

I would always prefer to get it in head and lose than call behind and lose.

point 2......untill you get over this "rigged for action nonsence you will get nowhere..imo.
