this is just the latest in a long run of bad beats is it me doing anything wrong so sick been like this more or less for 10 months now cannot do much right apart from the odd game but 95% of games ending like this

The first hand you got your opponent to stack off with top pair and you got unlucky.

Eventually when you're not running so bad your aces would hold up there.

The last hand is just a cooler that you notice more when running bad.

thanks for replying yes its varients but this has been happening since february i do well in the odd tournament
but even these end with say like an all in i have aq aginst qj  i loose dosnt matter what i have if i hit a set or 2 pair either the flush or straight comes i no varients happen but surely not for so long
in a coin flip i would say my results stand at 88% loss when 99% of the time i am ahead going into it
just need a change of luck some1 please send me some

Variance is most notable in tournament play.

Because it only takes one losing hand like these in tounaments to do all the damage.

But what about all the hands we won up until this point? If it had been a cash game for instance, all those winning hands up until this point would probably be showing a profit. So that one losing hand in cash would not be such an issue.

Thats why variance is more noticable in MTT's

I don't comment on others' playing decisions as a rule, but the big question with the Original Poster's hand history is why go all in after the flop? When any flop hits it dilutes down the advantage of holding AA, KK etc - all of a sudden someone whose limped in might have two pair, a set, four to a straight or a flush . . . in this case he hit top pair (so he thought).  Would he have called a shove with J,10o pre-flop? If you're slow playing to build up the pot, and don't hit yourself, although you may well have top pair with three on the board and two to come, does it warrant shoving, when there's a risk you could exit the game if the first three cards haven't gone your way and the next two don't either?

To shove pre-flop or not pre-flop? That is the question.

this site is a pi s s take 10 months of getting bab beat after bad beat glory i get a week of restbite then boom worse than ever complete joke people going all in with 9 5 hitting 3 9s  aq qt t q 3j hitting flush getting sick of people saying its the run of the cards and thats poker and they even themselves out well i can tell u they dont
