JUST LIKE A BIT OF INPUT ON HOW PEOPLE PLAY THE BUBBLE... PERSONALLY EVERY MTT I PLAY I AIM TO MAKE THE TOP 3 AND TEND TO GET AGRESSIVE NEAR THE BUBBLE,HOWEVER AT TIMES I FIND MYSELF SLOWING DOWN... AS IF ITS A SECOND IMPULSE,SUCH AS BIG MTTS LIKE THE OPEN WHERE TOP 60 IS PAID AND UVE BEEN PLAYING FOR A WHILE AND JUST SOMETIMES FEEL ITS "ROUTINE" TO CASH... MY THOUGHT BEHIND THIS IS THAT YEAH U COULD MAKE £30 ODD QUID OR SO BY JUST CASHING, BUT DO U REALLY WANT TO GO WITH THAT MINDSET.... THE PROBLEM IM HAVING IS I FIND I GET TO AGGRESIVE NEAR THE CASH AND OFTEN BUBBLE OUT,, MAKE THE CASH THEN GET KNOCKED OUT, OR MAKE A SHOCKING PLAY...IVE GOT A FAIR RECORD OF MTTS AND DO OK.... AND I CAN MIX MY STYLE... HOWEVER IT DOES GET FRUSTRATING AT TIMES... I PLAYED IN THE 10.35 LAST NIGHT ONLY 19 RUNNERS TOP 3 GOT PAID... I FINISHED 4TH... TWO BIG STACKS ME AND ANJIE1970(TOP MTT PLAYER) SHORTYS... I HAD 89X IN THE BB AND SB SHOVED(BIG STACK) WITH THOSE POCKET 5s AGAIN! I ONLY HAD ABOUT 5X BB SO I THOUGHT MY CARDS ARE LIVE AND CALLED... I MISSED AND WENT OUT... 3RD PLACE PICKED UP £46 2ND I THINK £68 AND 1ST £115... THIS IS WHERE MAYBE I SHOULD OF HELD ON AND PASSED FOR ANOTHER ORBIT OR GOT THE DOUBLE UP I NEEDED!! AFTER I REFLECTED ON IT... (AS I DO MOST TIMES) AND THOUGHT THAT IM THERE TO WIN AND MADE THE RIGHT MOVE AS ONLY 2 OF US IN...I HAD QUITE A GOOD READ OF THE TABLE DYNAMICS AND THE SHOVER WAS PRETYY AGRESSIVE... JUST WONDERED HOW OTHERS PLAY THE BUBBLE... CHEERS JIMBO;-)

Suppose you have 6 left and 5 get paid. The stacks look like:
Big stack
Big stack
You - 8,000 chips
Villain - 4,000 chips
Villain - 4,000 chips
Small stack - 2,000 chips.
Avoid the big stacks obviously, but do not attack the small stack - he knows he's on life support and is looking to double through. Attack the two villain stacks who will make the most incredible laydowns. They're just waiting for someone to bust the little stack and often fold everything.
