    Tikay you mention the cost of running 865 so surely it would be cheaper if it  DIDN'T run 24/7, say 3pm till 1am or even 5 or 6 days a week?

    haha yeah one of those things. how i can buy a new carpet cleaner for like £1000. I already own a hoover it cost me £30 from tesco ffs.

    To answer a few of the questions:

    New UK Cash Game- definitely planned for the start of the new year...... I have a wish list of players and once all is confirmed we will of course post on the forum

    Repeats- I wish we was on more as Tikay said filling 24 hours 7 days a week is difficult. However I am looking into some third party poker material to put out. We also have a 1.5 hour Hot Seat show coming to the channel in November. Yes 1.5 hours of Tikay and Orford looking at ducks and discussing Tikays life........ it was actually a joy to film and quite moving in parts. If you love Tikay you will love this show.
    We cannot put exact show dates on screen, apart from the REPLAY bug that is in the top left of the screen. Plus all graphics on the show, when advertising an event/ competition so normally have the dates on them

    Really appreciate peoples feedback so please keep sending it in!

    just a thought, but how about repeats from near start of sky on air ??

    1 - bring back memories for older sky players - not meaning you tikay ( tongue in cheek)

    2 - so new players can see how play was played then to now ??

    Unfortunately we can only use show that are up to a year old....... using old presenters images on screen or site to promote a product is a no no after 1 year!

    No worries. 865 needs a LOT of Content to fill 24/7, & on a tight budget, it's not easy. 865 is currently midst a big overhaul, with all sorts of changes in the pipeline, & hopefully, if Mother can cut the deal, some really interesting external poker Content, too. There is quite a disconnect in the thinking of who 865 is aimed at, too. Besides the mantras of Entertainment, Education, Community & Promotion, it MUST also appeal to potential new viewers, people who do not currently play on Sky Poker. Addressing the captive market is fine, & very important, but driving new viewers, & thus sign ups & players, is just as important. Given how much it costs to fund a dedicated TV Channel, including all the associated staff, both sides of the camera, it's a constant battle to justify it. Still, it was 5 years ago this month that we began developing the Channel, which eventually opened, iirc, in Jan/Feb 2007, & it's done it's job well, & the costs are now far, far less than originally. But still a lot......

    Fantastic news on the new plans will be very interested to see what comes about.  I have thought for a while that there needs to be a little more variety on shows and the tye of games being showed.  It would be good to see a wider mixture of the games on offer and of different stakes ....would be  funny watching some of the outragous betting patterns seen in the cheap stakes games. :).   some things that the channel does well could also be expanded, the pundits are great such as Carlo, Ian Frazer etc andlove the poker news - would be nice to see this part expanded so people focused on the Sky experiencealso get introduced to to stars of WSOP etc more often,  Aso a bit more exposure to those on Team Sky Poker would be good as only JKulian ever really gets a mention :)

    if your running the cash game in the new year what about a comp to play on it. £500 buy in via a tourney on here. Would give the regs a reason too watch if there mates are on in and would make good tv showing the difference in class between the pros and the amatures. Sought of stolen the idea from the big game on TV and added the tourney entry.

    Thanks for the great feedback and to answer some of your questions.................

    We have invited all of TSP onto the shows over the next few months, plus some regulars such as SimUK and LOL_Raise. Julian will also be on the channel on the 17th November

    The News show will shortly becoming a 1 hour show. Date this will happen is sooner rather then later but its never easy

    We can always show different levels, especially with Master Cash tables but we cannot show Omaha for example. Our console is not built to do this. We are sourcing ways of recording via a bit of software on a PC then playing out on the channel
