Out of ukops 3

I'm dissapointed with with a good poker player in the ukops 3 final. I am not a good poker player, so i made an effort not to play silly hands. I was doing really well over two hours of play. I was dealt  K J suited the blinds  300/600 i raised 2400 the small blind called me. on the flop K 3 7 . great i thought i raised i think 3000 the small blind called me all in. I snapped called he turned over K 7 and won the big pot.. what makes a good player play K 7 against a big raise..many hanks  Big-J

Sounds unlucky m8 and welcome to the forum

I am glad you enjoyed ukops its ul when your opponant flops 2 pair and you top pair, nout you can do.

But one thing i would ask is how many big blinds you  had when you played KJ. If you had around 12 or less, i would have just shoved preflop.

The player probably realised u were new and maybe less experienced, so thought he could outplay you post flop in position.  UL tho.  gl in the future !

I reckon this is about right. Unlucky though and hope you run better in the rest of the UKOPS!
