Think that you can call here for a set mine. likely facing two over cards or a bigger pocket pair just call in possition. If a low flop comes then you can call a bet on the flop and see if they fire a second barrel on a low turn. NL8 players don't generally double barrel with AK so you can give up there. If however they check the turn you can bet the river for value (assuming no over cards).

I would call but proceed with caution. Unless you hit a jack of course. Then it's bet bet bet!!!
