Rakeback Websites

edited November 2011 in Poker Chat
Just a quick one even though I think I already know the answer...

Are there any rakeback websites that are compatible with Sky that would increase the rakeback you already get from Sky(C4P)?

I didn't think there were but a guy the other day was saying in the chatbox on a table that he uses a rakeback site and he gets an extra 25% on his C4P but you can never believe half the stuff strangers on here say.

Any thoughts?

You get extra 25% C4P if you're in Priority Club by hitting 10k c4p per month.

even if there was, an existing customer wouldn't be able to receive it as poker sites only offer these type of deals to new customers.

tbh rakeback shouldn't be a massive factor in your decision making on which site to play unless you are a serious/serious grinder.

i make at least 1k C4P on here and don't even consider it a serious issue.

I know that you get 25% extra C4P by being in the priority club but that wasn't the question. I was asking if there was ANOTHER way of getting additional rakeback i.e. through a rakeback website.

I don't get how you can get rakeback from some sites through these rakeback sites even though some of these sites give you rakeback themselves.

Well when I'm earning enough per month that 1k isn't an issue, then I won't be starting threads like this lol.

But I know what ya mean Scotty and yes it's a small amount compared to the amount you should be winning if you're a winning player and putting in the volume but if someone gave you 25% extra, that's still £250 on what you said. Can't say no to free money.

Think i know where your coming from on this one received an email this morning from a rake back site which is nothing unusal the bit that did catch my eye was the mention of sky poker offering rake back. On looking closer into it they seem to be promoting the site but with just the normal c4p but offering a bonus % as well.

This is fairly strange as the are purely a rake back site that exists by you signing up through them and them getting a cut of your rake which is something sky didn't normally do that well.

Sky Poker is a leading online poker room offering GBP £ based games and accepts players from the UK and some European countries as listed below. It offers Texas Hold’Em and Omaha games.

Up to 50% returns - does not mention the fact that you would have to be running with the gods to reach this sort of rakeback

    £1,000 bonus (no minimum deposit)

25% BOOST on your Cash for Points bonus - presume this is the bonus paid on 10000 c4p

See your hands reviewed on Sky Poker TV!

Players accepted from: United Kingdom, Ireland, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Gibraltar, Greece, Poland, Spain, Sweden - Again did not realise we were going european

Cant post the site on here but if anyone wants to have a look pm me and i'll pm a link.

those countries have always been able to play

sky does have an affiliate programme and assume that is what that spam is about.  doubt that they will be able to get you a better deal than the one that sky offer to anyone else tho.  from the looks of it sounds like the standard new player bonus/c4p system

Do you mean £1k per month? That's an awful lot just playing £.25/£.50 & £.50/£1 (and some MTT points!?) I just played miles more than I have done (and plan to in future) the last month and still only got just over 11k points = £275 for October.

Was thinking about this last night and if this (my amount of play) was just 3 years ago playing on crypto that would've been about £2k in rakeback (playing £.50/£1). Even now when I think that I can get 60% elsewhere I do question why I play here. Certain things just suit me more that's all ;)

Points are an odd system in my mind - rewarding a winning hand not the amount in the pot so of course you will get less cash back becoz its cash back not rake back
