My workpeeps were discussing the recent harry potter series coming to an end, and the amount of money the young actors had earned, and how much they would expect to earn in the future. I jumped in and said probably not much as they have now been typecast for those roles. I backed this up with, ''take Lassie, when he finished filming his final scenes, he couldn't find any other acting work. Twice he was turned down for the part of skippy, and flipper was a definate no no. All the producers had type cast him to play one particular type of role, that of a faithful mutt'' Then i thought, what if we did total reverse typecasting? Can anyone think of the most surreal acting part that any actor/actress just wouldn't be in, although it would be funny to see! I will start off with Danny Devito as Billy Elliot, or Sly stallone as Romeo in Shakespeare
