Sky Poker forums will be temporarily unavailable from 11pm Wednesday July 25th.
Sky Poker Forums is upgrading its look! Stay tuned for the big reveal!
LIVE ON 865 RIGHT NOW! The UKOPS High Roller with Rich, Tikay and McLean Karr!
Two awesome guests on the same night! Good work folks!
OK, questions for Mclean...
Since Black Friday it's been impossible for US pros to play online from home. How does he view the evolution of poker players in the US? Wil they relocate to play online still, or will there be a move towards online pros taking on the live cash games and tournaments? What does he think is the biggest challenge if the latter is the case?

What's wrong with your game?
What's the one thing that you just can't master in poker? Is it bankroll management? Playing on tilt? Playing big Aces out of position? Value betting? See if you can identify the weakness in your game and let us know for some sympathy and, more importantly, some honest and constructive advice from Tikay and McLean.
Post away and we'll read it out live on air from 8!
Everyone who posts/emails something we read out tonight will go into a hat, from which a randomly picked name will win free entry into this Saturday's Bounty Hunter worth £22 and possibly a lot more!
So, it's got it all tonight. Get your questions in for McLean and your thoughts on tonight's topic on this thread and all your usual banter.

Tonight sees the premiere of all the footage from last week's Sky Poker Tour 2011/12 Leg 1 at DTD.
It's on every ad break in the first two hours of the show- don't miss it!
Really looking forward to the show tonite. Viewing figures should be through the roof with UKOPS. Great guest as usual so have a good show.
Anyways, what's wrong with my game?
As you know Rich I'm fairly knew and although I'm learning relatively quickly on a small BR the ONE thing that I struggle with is AGGRESSION. I play MTT's and like the Deepstacks as I get good value for money but when I'm deciding to raise 3x/4x part of me is thinking "crikey that's a lot of chips to be throwing in the middle" and sometimes still (and say it quietly) LIMP. I am getting better but would value the teams views.
I know there's a lot in this question but how do you learn AGGRESSION. Does it come naturally or is it just a case of adapting your game? Or am I destined to be a passive player?
pad
p.s. Managed 7th in the Orfy freeroll so thanks again.
Aggression
Is it overrated??
Just a question regarding the overall outcome of this style of play? Does it benifit you playing this way or are you best playing like a sleeping log until it comes to crunch time.
I ask this as I used to play mega tight (and did ok) but wanted to adapt my game to win bigger games rarther than just cashing or scrapping to final table.
This style has worked to a point, yet I find if I'm running deep in a tourni and am big stacked I can't help calling the aipf with AK, 10 10 ect and its a big downfall.
Where is the turning point where you think, Im doing nicely I'll sit back for a while?? Or do you carry on gun ho (as most hands I call are fav pre, just ul flops) and hope it comes eventually?

What's wrong with your game?
my problem is defo tilt and knowin when just to quit on the night I can play for say 6 days of the week win 2-3 buyins a night playing cash then say the last day of the week a get bad beat early on or I make a bad play that just makes me play reckless and before i start to think just call it a nite and I`ve lost most of my profit for the week my hard work for nothing any tips to resolve this.
thats my excuse anyway!
Too Lazy
I wake up and say i am going to play today but instead just sit here all day staring at a screen or watching a film just to stop me from having to play.
No BRM
I have absolutely no BRM i will play what i want if i have the money even if it means its my whole bankroll, this is probably because i have a figure set in my head that i want to reach before i implement proper Bankroll management until then i just keep taking shots to reach that figure
Hi Rich & Tony ,
i and i am sure the forum regs would agree
you guys & your skypoker co-workers / team should be
well and truly commended for the way you guys and gals have grown this poker site .
Tonight's milestone is all credit to you guys & gals /> />>>
UKOPS 4- the £530 buy-in High Roller with a guaranteed prize pool of £25,000.
have a great show guys .
Denis .
Another issue I have is paying attention to what others do and picking up on what they do, taking notes etc.
I also think I'm missing value by not value-betting enough. If I have medium strength hands in position I often tell myself that no worse hand would call anyway and just check back, even if I'm 80% sure I have the best hand. Playing only MTTs, and almost exclusively Omaha, what is the right approach to value betting 2 pair/trips/small straights/flushes?
Q. What's wrong with your game?
A. EVERYTHING!!
There ya go that's me won the HIGH ROLLER tonight!!
lol!!
Good luck to everyone playing in the high roller tonight. Just one word of advice. Be afraid of the man with nothing to lose
