The 10 Laws of online Poker

edited October 2009 in Area 51
1. AT always loses to KJ
2. When you flop a big hand, you must always check-raise all-in so that your opponents know you've got a big hand and you can feel smug
3. KK always loses to 44
4. The person with a nickname like "Li'l Old Lady Beginner" is a semi-pro shark who will clean you out
5. 22 always rivers a set
6. When you flop a straight, someone will hit a flush on the river
7. 87 suited is the absolute nuts
8. The person with a nickname like "RichOrford" offers easy pickings.
9. Q9 are top cards and should be played as such because the hot-o-meter says so
10. If you miss your draw, you must go all-in on the river as a bluff.
If you're new to the site, remember these laws and you'll fit right in.
