How can you call?

Tricky stack sizes behind you.  I may raise, may fold pre.  But there is no way you should be considoring even thinking of getting involved with some weird race from behind here with a horrible price....

Knew it was dangerous to call hence why I folded. Suppose I was thinking that any Q or 10 gave me a decent pair or the J gave me a straight. Still slim chance of hitting flush also. Oppo to win short stack chips and propel me up the leader board. Glad I folded - played for another couple of hours and made 40th in the 2000 mini open. Folding here clearly helped me! I'm new to the game and still trying to understand pot and hand odds.

They say to be a good poker player you have to "know when to fold em", if you think your beat is it wise to call but sometimes you have to make a crying call. There is no reason here to risk so many chips for such a small pot, IMO well played good fold.
