the reason to shove with any 2 is because you show strength and get value for a double up if you get rubbish cards by the time your blinds come round your gonna shove anyway so be the aggressor and dont get stuck in that position. but if its to ladder and not go out on bubble sometimes a fold can be worth it if you think other shorties will shove instead after.

I should have listened to Tikay. In the Semi I was leading at one time and tried to make a move to wrap things up (To impatient) Should have sat on my hands instead! LOL. Try the BH sat now if I dont get through that it is Big Brother for me! :P

Reason to push with any 2 when low is because it gives the opponent fold equity.

if its 150/300 and u only have 1200(3bbs) if oppo min raises to 600 and u shove its only 600 for him to call with his any 2.

if u shove with 10-15bbs it allows ur opponents to fold out marginal hands like k10 j10 or raggady ace as its too much of their stack to risk losing.

I normally get myself stuck with 5 or less big blinds because of bluffs or semi bluffs not coming off or merely being outdrawn.
