Don't think there's anything too wrong with that play, to be honest. He's about 2/1 to hit his hand, he's almost getting the odds anyway. He's got 20 big blinds back even if he loses the hand, if he wins he's got a pretty huge stack and probably goes quite deep into the cash. I think it just played itself and you were unlucky, to be honest.
