I,ve found it hard to get back into it sice September when i was playing loads

Probably best to have a little break and set yourslef targets for when you get back

My job ended in September and I decided to play 50nl and 100nl (full ring) on another site as I was getting 30% rakeback.
For 4 weeks I was playing 10 hours a day with all the usual ups and downs.
Trouble was I was playing the same damn people most of the time and eventually I was beginning to hate it. I also found my confidence collapsing against certain players which affected my game.
Decided after a month that the $350 odd dollars in rakeback wasn't worth the bother.
Now I play when I feel like it and am enjoying it again.

Yeah same here mostly.  Got into the habit of playing 10 & 20 dollar 9 - 27 seater S&g's 5 hrs a day 4 tabling and having 3 5 hour live sessions a week.  Best way to grind it out really is to play ABC, but then it just kind of becomes a chore.

Then you find yourself getting needlessly creative for entertainment.......................

But yes, playing habitually ABC for the grind does take some of the enjoyment away.
