On "Remembrance Day" I always think of and remember my uncle "LBR Roy F. Finch".
He gave his tomorrow so we could have our today.
He died at Sandakan POW camp Jan. 14, 1945. Over 2,500 men died at that camp..only 6 men survived.
I never met him as I was the first male born in the family after the war and was given his name.
