Right play on the river?

edited November 2011 in The Poker Clinic
I put the villian on either the king or a draw that missed. I bet because I don't see how he can bet out on the river with second pair or a missed draw. But he might call thinking that I'm bluffing for some reason since the pot is now so big.

Looks perfect, maybe bit smaller on't turn.

    River is a no-brainer!

Bet was a bit on the large size on the turn mainly because I thought that if he can call a bet on that flop then he will call on the turn too. The larger the bet the more pot committed he will be on the river. That pot means I'm now back to playing NL8 after my water bill woes. (I had to take my roll back from £200 to £100 to pay a bill about two months ago)

There's not much action on the NL8 tables is there? Often I would find that there were too many NL4 tables with five players on them and I couldn't multi-table them all. With NL8 I find I have to either sit at a table where a double stack has possition on me, or join the waiting list for a table full of fish.
