right to bluff NL8 hand?

edited November 2011 in The Poker Clinic
This guy has not played a hand yet for around 3 orbits which struck me as unusual. Then he 3-bets me. I figure he has either AK or an over pair. When he checks the flop I'm more convinced that he has AK. With this read is it okay to check raise on the turn to rep diamonds. I figure he can't call this bet with just ace high and I know he's not a station because he's folded so many hands pre flop. This post is also a bit of shameless advertising to shake off my rock-like image to forum regs.

    clear fold pre imo

Not sure I like turn, dont think you have enough reads he mightnt fold Adx or Kdx also never folds an overpair if he ever checks flop with one. Your line looks a little fos too

After he checks flop looks a lot like AK as overpair would surely cbet for value.

He's turn bet is pretty weak and looks like he's just stealing after seeing you check twice so raise is probably well timed.

Not sure about flatting 3bet pre OOP, against most guys who cbet a lot you'll most likely lose unless you flop a top pair or flush/str8 draw, but I admit AQs is hard to fold pre.
