Chase or fold?

Is this hand worth chasing considering the raises i put in?
It's obvious to me if I'm the opponent i have a hand, but he has no draws just 2 over cards to the board(6 outs!!!) and calls big raises, he must know he's behind on the turn, but just can't fold his ace high, never bet the river so he wasn't confident of winning.

I fold after the flop on a bet like that, but am i wrong to do so? Ithink not.

i thought long about it pod, but weighed up the fact that the short stack only had 570 chips where as i was left with 1600 and blinds at 200/400. As it happened i cashed in 3rd like i said which is what the game is about in DYM, I would have snapped it in a cash game or regular tournament.

Short stake went all in next hand with 8 8 and got a caller(BB i think so he had 400 in there any way) with 9 8 o/s who flopped a straight to the jack, so i went home happy

I'm probably in the minority but if I am playing the a-k I'm shoving here pre.The idea of the raise pre I guess was to stop the short stack getting in cheap but I'm happy to take the blinds or fold really thus taking any tricky decisions like you had out the way.(tbh though think seeds call pre is awful with shortie around in dym)

I am going to be brutal here, you played both hands badly. The first hand on board like that you should have raised more than half the pot, with two callers, on the turn. At that point ship it and if they call, then their play would have been wrong. However, you check was good, but i don't understand their check on the river, the only thing i can think is they were trying to check raise you.
The second hand is never a fold, not with top pair top kicker, however, as it was in a DYM , with a short stack then i will forgive you. the only advice i will give in this instance is, don't enter the hand with any hand if your going to lay down to a shove post flop, save your chips, or push it in yourself.

You played the AKdd DYM bubble hand very well imo. Min raise the button is good here, so if the shorty in sb goes all-in the guy in bb can call too and you can both check it down.

And you are absolutely correct to fold when the bb CRAI. You may well be ahead but absolutely no need to call this and risk going out when the guy in 4th place has <1.5bb.

Just sucks that bb has decided to play back at you when the other guy is soooooo short.

Don't post freeroll hands as there is often no logic to how hands are played in them.
With  KK and three callers to your c bet i'm not putting another chip in the middle.

Hand 1 - Bet more on the flop, maybe around 300, then on the turn I probs shove because your leaving yourself with a stack that you can't fold if he wants to bet into you on the river.

Hand 2 - I'm never folding here, but I hate and suck at DYM's it just promotes a type of poker that just isn't poker IMO.

Hand 3 - Bad beat story, you got it in ahead!

Hand 4 - You should never bet into a 4 way pot with KK on an A high flop, your just never winning here. Just swear at the computer and check/fold and wait for a better spot. They obviously don't like folding, so hit a set and you've got their stacks.
