A few hands from the Sunday roller.

Right i played the roller yesterday got in through league stars and this is obviously a tournement i would never ever consider playing (i play £2 bounty hunters) 

I just want peoples opions on a few hands from early on as i know they play very differently then they would in a little bounty hunter.

First i have KK now normally i know you always want to get them in pre and you are ul if they have AA, but i think this was the 5th hand i was in and was in no mood to go out...

Do i have to 4/5 bet this everytime in this spot baring in mind how early it is and stack sizes? or is my passive path ok? as it happens it was a great flop to get away from...
2nd hand: I am obviously trying to get heads up with the shorter stack post flop, after the larger stack goes all in, do i have to call here 100% of the time? would you snap it off?

Maybe call with KK, access turn but fold is ok and safe this early

Since you got in for free to this comp you want to really stop looking at it so negatively. You are either going to bust and lose no money or go deep like you could/would/do in lower comps and potentially win stupidly big sums compared to your usual level. It's in your best interests to try and forget the money if you play alot smaller and being in for free should allow you to do that.

With hand 1, why did you 3bet? Why when you hold the 2nd nut hand are you looking to get away?! I would personally 3bet/5bet and be willing to go all in. I wouldn't also fold this flop.  What range of hands do you think your opponent puts in the 4th bet with and how does he play them on an ace high board? Also were you aware that your oppo won the 500 high roller and plays in all the bigger comps? if so that should make you even more likely to put the money in preflop. If you really weren't interested in going out this early then you can always just flat call preflop? Do you see that by 3betting this hand but then not be willing to go all in with it that you allow your opponent to make the 4th bet with any two cards and make you only willing to go all in with AA, you are likely reraising more than just AA so you are shooting yourself in the foot with those other hands.

hand 2 revolves around what you think the larger of the two stacks has, you are only worried about 22/KJ, if he could just have KQ or KT or a draw here then yes we should be stacking off, if not then you can fold and try and find a better spot.
