There is no god given right to win!

Right i am sure my opinion on this will get up some peoples noses :( it is not meant as a personal attack on anyone it is just a view of what i see being posted :)

The amount of posts from people who put up hand histories regarding having top pairs being turned over by smaller pairs is astonishing at worst :) this is poker and gambling .... so my point of view is don't moan about it have a laugh at it instead ( unless your in final of the poker million )

It is not a divine right just because you have AA KK AK QQ that you should automatically win the pot, to win the pot you need the best 5 cards out of 7 and thats that really. People will call and thats a fact of life, the speculators and chancer's will hit and are entitled to hit if they pay their money.

There just seems to be a lot of people moaning about the software etc when they lose with a monster. It happens everyday to 1000's of people and even the pros get turned over in tournaments by chancer's and speculators. It may not be etiquette if someone has raised the blind 4 or 5 times and someone calls and keeps calling to the river and wins, but thats the game. i think it is called the new breed of poker player. Wether it is right or wrong is not for debate. The fact of the matter is it's your job to spot these people and either avoid them or roll with the punches. if you can't avoid them because your in a tournament then adapt your game to suit, but they have paid their money and are entitled to play any way they want.

The thing that makes me laugh is when gus hansen or phil ivey do it, they are seen as a genius. Ordinary Joe does it and he needs to be burned at the stake. The other thing that makes me laugh too is that when people win with a monster and the speculators don't hit and they walk away with a nice stack they don't moan then .... so what's that all about?.

Just a quick example - i had my first live casino tourney 2 weeks ago and i was lucky to be dealt AA and raised the blind 5 times and a dude called. Flop come down and was no use to man nor beast. The caller went all in so i called him. He had k3 what come down on the turn and river KK!! What are the chances of that. Sure i was annoyed at the time but afterwards i thought fairplay to you. I calmed down after a couple of minutes and put the same caller out after the break. Poker is swings and roundabouts in my opinion and is very much similar to life. some days are good and some days are bad ..... unless your me ... then my motto to life is " Everyday's a good day! "

I am fully prepared to get hammered here, but i will still be smiling!! so the tin hat's on give it your best :)))))
