Have i played the hand as bad as i think i have? what should i be doing on the turn???

my bet on the flop is weak because i want to keep someone in the pot and ideally induce a raise, should i have bet bigger though???
Should i have slowed down and checked the turn? once i get the min raise on the turn it is screaming FLUSH at me....BUT the villain had previously made a similar raise on a paired board trying to rep a set but then folding to resistance.....given this, should I believe the villain and fold or just stick the lot in knowing I have a few outs if he has the flush???

Bet flop bigger at least 220.

This allows turn to be easy bet call.

As played his raise does look uba strong but you still gotta get it in imo.

i hate your flop bet waller u got flush draw on flop i would bet 3/4 here around 250 on the turn when villain raises here i would just call no value in raising because u might get shoved on and basically has flush then so i would call the raise on the turn and if no diamond i be looking to check call any bet on river ui would not bet the river because if u get shoved on then what this way u lose less chips hope i make sense lol

I think the flop bet was small a bigger bet would have give us a clue if they were really drawing to the flush! With your reads I would have been tempted to C/R the turn if he had comes back over the top I think we have our answer.

If you are advocatiing c/r then fold turn with top set I completely disagree and have no idea why you think its a good idea

OP bet flop bigger, like 300 for value. Never folding, torn between calling and shoving. Might just shove oop

i know i have played the hand awful, i would never normally bet so small on the flop especially with 2 diamonds on board, like i said was hoping to keep ppl in the pot or induce a raise.....but yeah poor play i know

the turn was the main reason i posted the hand, i was sooo unsure of what to do, if i call and the river is a non diamond i'm prob gonna be sticking the lot in anyway, is folding the right thing to do given the fact there is no gty he has the flush???

anyway....i shoved, he had the flush and i was onto the next game!
