    was my 3 bet pre-flop a little too much. being out of position i thought winning the hand right away would do me.

    in heinsite, the call Syler made pre-flop was extremely loose, same for the turn.

    This isn't a bad beat story, just a thread started for any advice on my bet sizing on all streets.

    yeah, probably 3/4 pot bet on flop in case he was on club flush draw.
    Pre flop reraise is fine.
    but very unlucky. don't know why he was in hand pre either.

    Bet sizing is good all the way.
    Like the flop bet size, and it worked, as it got a call from no pair / no draw.

    Just unlucky to lose the hand.

    Thanks for the comments;

    Maybe, i should of made my flop bet a little bit more towards 3/4ish. But, as it worked out i got a call from a guy who needed runner runner to beat me.

    My Turn shove, was intended to either:
    a) make any draws pay (which in the end happened, im not to bothered as 1 in 4 times approximatley the spade wouldn't have came on the river and i would have scooped a nice pot)
    b) get a call from a Kx type hand, which was easily in his range, considering his pre-flop call.

    if i was behind when the cards when on there backs, i would put it down to being unlucky. However, i think he would have 3bet the flop if he had a 2pair/set
