Is this a profitable call in the long run, readless at NL10?

If he does this with AA or KK then I'm way behind.
If he does it with a smaller pair then I'm behind and flipping.
I figure I'm only in good shape if he does this with a weaker Ax or Kx.

At NL4 I'm snapping this off, but how often does he have the latter type of hand at this level?

Also, given the stack sizes, the Big Blind may well be tempted to call. Should I take this into account when considering whether to call?

if he has over 100bb then you have to assess his range

if he has AA/KK here then UL but easiest call ever

Easiest call ever. If he has AA or KK then make notes. But don't forget if he has KK you still have 30% equity so you lose about £2 if he has KK (on average) but most times he will just be a fish that is shoving with a pair or a picture combo. A random sits with aprox 40BBs and then open shoves his range is much wider than AA or KK. I think his range likely is 77+ AJ+ and KJ+. You are way ahead of this range. If he doubles up then he's just holding it for you anyway. Win it back from him over time by out playing him

I say call, get the read on the guy. If he has the goods ok never mind, but a nice spot here to take some money. if he has a pair get lucky, if he has A-something suited .......then unlucky Mr Villian!!!
