    i dont get rid of either of these to by raisin the flop here dude. i know i want them to pay for draws but  soooo many hands here can come good. turn was only easy decision really. lol at "that villian" jj.  p7s p9s p10s and 8d slows you down surely. ok 10s prob dont play coz villian prob/def reraises pre

    with that flop even witha set i am not fav to win this hand , cant see why i should put any more money in here. i am not betting for value and unless i shove i cant protect against these 2.

    He's raised 3x pre then made a cbet and you have bottom set on a wet board, please tell me why this is ever NOT a 100% raise, I'm awfully confused.....

    I wouldnt be fistpumping about getting it in on that flop, but I think you prob should get it in

    % Equity For Players When That Player Has a Given Hand Type


    Here we present %equity for players when that player observes a given hand type. %Equity is basically %win with %tie divided between the number of players splitting the pot. The data in this section should be considered a rough approximation only. To understand the reason for this it is useful to consider how many rounds are being dealt in the simulation. The number of rounds where a given player has, for example a full house is much less than the number of rounds dealt in the whole simulation. With less rounds dealt, the number estimated from these rounds will be less accurate. This is particularly the case for hand types that have a low percentage chance of occurring. While understanding that these numbers should be treated as rough approximations, we do however believe this is some useful data to be looking at, so enjoy.

    To use the poker odds calculator: 
    1. Select the number of opponents from the drop down box at the top left
    2. Select a card on the table
    3. Select a card in the deck to place on the selected table card.
    4. Continue to place cards on the table in this manner until you have set up the table cards as you want (you may have any combination of known and unknown cards set)
    5. Click the "Calculate Odds" button and see the results appear in the results window
    6. To clear the table and to start again, click the "Clear Table" button
    Results: for each player with specified cards, the results will return:
    • %Win: The percentage of simulated rounds the player has won outright. This does not include rounds that were a tie.
    • %Tie: The percentage of simulated rounds the player has tied with other players
    • Odds: The odds of a loss vs a win. For example 2 to 1 would mean there are two lost rounds for each won round. A tie is devided between a win and a loss. For example, a two-way tie will count for half a win and half a loss.

    The odds calculator performs a simulation where many thousands of rounds are dealt to the unknown cards. This is then used to calculate odds statistics. As the results are calculated from a simulation of thousands of rounds rather than an exhaustive calculation the odds will be an approximation of the true odds. If it is possible to calculate all possible deals in a reasonable time, the tool will do this rather than a random simulation.

    Here are some of the resources I have found useful relating to poker odds and poker in general. There are a number of poker calculators that provide odds in real time while playing online. These calculators also come with a number of other useful features. Holdem Indicator is an online poker calculator that includes opponent tracking and statistics while you play online while Magic Holdem is another calculator that includes configurable real time betting advice. 

    Wikipedia has a strong introduction to Texas hold 'em probabilities that can be useful to gain a bit more insight into how to calculate hold 'em probabilities. And of course if you have not found what you are after here, don't forget to try Google.

    Who cares if they call or fold, if you think your ahead then bet

    sorry its been long getting back on this started work at 4 am and just got in now ,i agree the river should have been raised agree 100%. but im still not convinced on post flop play(am willing to be convinced mind). do i think im ahead on the flop, yes rancid i do but i dont think im fav to win the hand though. whats wrong with flatting here. maybe/probably my mind set is wrong  but when your caught between betting to protect and betting for value its better to air on the side of caution. like i say there's plenty of weaker hands i get to fold by reraising i dont want that. what is wrong with going down the streets and playing poker? like i say am willing to be convinced. phil

    Only reason I can favom for not raising flop would be playing with scared money (not wanting to get it in) but you clearly aren't so it's purely just bad play imo.

    your not one to be result orientated surely dude!!! anyhows i woulda lost to hols . are you saying if he was sat deep you wouldnt of raised? like I said yes i was ahead and no i wasnt fav to win the hand. so i was right ner ne ner ne ner ner!!
