I think this site should be shut down! its an absolute disgrace, the last 2 days i have lost over £100 in cash games, now i dont mind getting beat but when you lose several big hands with a hand of a straight or better and EVERY TIME you lose on the river card, to cards like 78, J4suited, 22 against AA, AK suited against 73suited, AK agains AK and the other person hits four diamonds, it makes me believe this site is completely and utterly fixed! from the hands i can remember (plus more that i cant) i lost 12 hands JUST on the RIVER card! SORT IT OUT SKY POKER YOU THEIFS!

Speaking of Corrie did anyone see the poker game a few weeks ago where straight-flush got beaten by royal-flush. Surprised it's not popped up in the Clinic forum.

When i had AA...22 shoved so i called and he hit his 2 and for example if i had a flush, someone had a s.flush or if i had full hous someone had quads, no matter what hand i had good or bad someone would beat it when the pot was of reasonable size, i know theres alot of bad beats, but EVERY SINGLE time i lost i got beat on the river, definitely fixed!

I feel your pain – best thing is to take a complete break for a while. I’m on one at mo (self imposed really as I threw the netbook across room and smashed screen after latest in a very long line of ridiculously bad beats).

I very much doubt that any of these sites are rigged – it just seems that way when you’re on a down swing. I do however think some people are inherently lucky and others unlucky – at mo I think I’m in the latter – maybe you are too.

Take a complete break – come back in a month and see how you feel – that what I’m going to do when I get my new netbook in the January sales! I’m actually quite relieved I cannot play for a while – watch some of the tv poker shows to get your fix!

why is it in films and soaps they always seemed to get str8 flush against royal flush by just playing 1 hand i mean what are the chances it takes me 2 years to get a royal flush and on oaps and films they get it in 5 minutes i do find it funny

Thing is with the hands you mention, people will only stay in if they perceive that they have value to do so.  as in a nut draw or semi nut draw.  Occassionaly, they are going to get there.

I'm a tad drunk, but I took a huge pot off two guys tonight, mainly because i played my hand badly and got there.  A weird back door straight off a 3 bet pot that I floated, as they were so loose, actually gaining outs at turn and making 2nd nuts at river.

But mostly we want ppl making bad calls like this, or expensive calls like this.

Two of the best pieces of advice I use in deep stack cash games are this:

Schwartz "Just because you've made mistakes in earlier streets doesnt mean you cant course correct and fold on later streets"

Paul Jackson "We want people to call us from behind, giving them perceived odds to get there.  They are going to get there in the minority but we want to charge them for the times they dont.  Its awful when they do get there, but we are burning money when we want them to fold."

I've never claimed to have full confidence in online.  But people do make alot of mistakes that dont help themselves.

Probably went a bit far saying it should be closed down lol but like i said, when your flopping starights flushs etc and build the pot and someone calls you with pretty much nothing then end up beating your straight, flush etc on the river EVERYTIME, its quite frustrating
