NL8: AK, flopped two pair facing turn overshove after board pairs.

edited December 2011 in The Poker Clinic

Only just joined table so no reads. The all in totally baffled me, even for an NL8 move. Looking back, my bet on the turn should have been bigger but don't think it made any difference to the hand.
BTW is overshove the right term to use in title???

i assume you called and saw the bad news? this would baffel me also, i would tank, then cry/sob/scream call and hope to god he is playing some kinda Ace really badly. i wouldn't have him on KQ or AQ after the turn shove (wouldnt want to lose value) so it really does narrow his preflop range down. my guess would be QJ, but like i say i have no idea. So if you want any help with this hand, basicly ignore my post. Sorry.
